I've not knit w/ this yarn. But I have knit w/ plenty of her exclusive yarns & they're great. This line has natural color hair, *not dyed* but color sorted *all natural* alpaca (softer than wool).

Finland has its own track gauge (almost the same as the Russian), but now with Finnish & Swedish NATO membership the scale seems to be tipping in favour of adding standard gauge to a few lines up in northern Finland starting at the connection to Sweden's railways.

As I'm sure most of you are painfully aware, when you size up (or "gauge") a body part, you go slow and in small increments, so as not to cause problems. The trouble though is, the different gauges progressively get larger the bigger you go.
So it starts small, say, 16g is 1.2mm. next is 14g, 1.6mm, etc... Now my septum is up to 2g, or 6mm. 0g, the next one, is a whopping 8mm. You can't even go half cuz that's still too big.
And its rare to find half mm sizes as you go big. Luckily, I happened to find a set that are half mm all the way up to my goal size, 10mm!

Home Assistant gauge card – manually defined colours

This post fits to #TIL (Today I learned) category.

The ‘normal’ way to define colours in a ‘gauge’ card is by defining severity from UI gauge settings. There are only 4 colours available in a sequence: blue, green, yellow, red:

Standard colours are defined using UI by turning on ‘define severity‘ and then entering thresholds for green, yellow, red:

But what if I want to define my own colours (e. g. green-yellow-orange-red)? Sometimes these colours doesn’t visually well represent the sensor value.

Firstly I wanted to define themes but because it didn’t work in a first try, I gave up.

Then I found out that Home Assistant gauge card help offers definining manual ‘segments’ for gauge card. So I switched to manual editing of a gauge and defined segments:
