I've been #recruiting to the team recently and have noted an uptick in the naked use of #GenAI within #job applications, #CVs, and covering letters. Some free advice to prospective candidates here and everywhere.
It is patently obvious to selection panels when GenAI has been used and, in general, it makes for a subpar #application. It also says something about you and your true desire for the job. If you must use it, declare in your application that you have used it and in what manner.

According to this graph (allegedly from a paywalled Economist article), the price-to-earnings multiples of current AI companies (Nvidia, etc) are lower than previous bubbles (the dot-com bubble of the late 1990s/2000, the 1989 Japan bubble). (Well, except Tesla).
If this is true, and we accept the premise that we are in an AI bubble, that implies that the current bubble has room to grow before popping. (Except Tesla?)

Okay, so, let me get this straight.
First there was #MicrosoftOffice.
Then they renamed it "Microsoft 365" for some *godforsaken* reason.
And now it's "Microsoft 365 Copilot"?
😵💫 Aaa. 😞
I have to say, this is the first time I've considered canceling a subscription because I look at the frigging name of the product and my *head bloody hurts*.
What the hell is going on at #Microsoft? (...wait, I know, a real slopfest, that's what's going on at Microsoft)
All of sudden I'm personally more invested in #LibreOffice once again.
PS. I don't trust "Copilot" on Microsoft apps. GitHub Copilot has been resoundingly underwhelming as a programming assist AI, so I can't even begin to guess how much of a problem it would be for #productivity apps.
