Eines der ersten Bücher dieses Jahr, was mein Interesse ergriff, war #Godkiller von Hanna Kamera und was ein schöner Ritt es war.

Prinzipiell ne Heldenreise in 3 Akten, aber wie auf 300 Seiten die Charaktere zusammen wachsen und die Welt durch die Darstellung von Gottheiten und deren Verlangen einen mitnimmt, ist schon echt schön gemacht.

Finished reading Godkiller, by Hannah Kaner, on the train home today. Solid fantasy quest story, with three different characters on different paths. Good pacing, good reveals, good world - really liked the bridge.

I can't find any more information about the planned #Godkiller sequel film except that it was in development so... if anyone out there knows if #Halo8 are still planning to make it, let me know.

To my shame, #Godkiller flew under my radar for more than decade, despite the fact that the graphic novel it is based on is sitting on our shelf. My joy in discovering this transgressive flick with its industrial soundtrack, dystopian future, sex-and-blood rituals, and strange blend of thelema, chaos magick and quantum physics, is bounded only by the fact that it is the first half of the story.
