Good morning tooters. It is currently 11c & we’re only getting up to 16c, with rain & there’s been heavy rain on & off overnight. It definitely feels a lot cooler.
I was wide awake & got up at 5.30am. It’s now 7.30 & I’m showered & dressed, I’ve stripped the bed but because of the weather haven’t done that washing. I have washed all the towels though. I’m almost completely packed up already, just bits & pieces to go. The house is clean & tidy & I can leave when I want. Although I have an appointment at the skin cancer clinic at 10am, so will hang around here until it’s time to go to that.
After the check I’ll head home & settle back into my own place & I love going home. House sitting & looking after peoples pets is always enjoyable, but home is definitely where my heart is 😊.

After a couple of days in California we flew to Boston, which is one of my favorite cities, and spent a couple of nights there. When I was younger I wanted to live in Boston but now I’m not sure I could handle the cold. But I managed to brave it for a couple of days while we were there so that we could wander around and see things like the Charles River, Boston Common, the North End, and of course the New England Aquarium

Since we live in China we usually go somewhere in Southeast or East Asia during our vacations because they’re close, and depending on where we go often have really nice weather. But this year for Chinese New Year, which is my longest holiday, we went back to the United States to visit my family. I’m from Massachusetts but flights from China usually go to the west coast so we went to San Francisco first. An old friend of mine lives there so we hung out for a couple of days and he showed us around
