As in the description. The street was in shade but the Ferry Building in the distance is lit up in the golden sun.

A slight change in angle makes all the difference... I took these three photographs within the span of a minute, each time slightly adjusting my position relative to the plants (and the sun). But the difference in lighting is striking!

I stepped outside during our friends' Thanksgiving celebration for a brief moment to myself and noticed that nearby plants were glowing in the setting sun.
