Just had a huge panic attack! Left my bag with laptop in it on the back of a shopping trolley. Got all the way home before I realised. Rushed back to the mall and bag nowhere to be found. About to give up when my name comes on the PA. Sprint to the mall office and hear that a kind woman found it and brought it in. Didn't leave her name, so I can't thank her but I can spread her goodness and tell everyone my story. Good people are still out there!
I get home from work one day, hop off my bike and crack open a beer. Suddenly, I get a phone call. Complete stranger tells me that he has my wallet. I get defensive and we start arguing. He then tells me to check my bag. I reluctantly do so and realise my wallet is nowhere to be found. I slink back to the phone and apologise profusely and the guy is fully understanding. In these moments, you realise the work you still have to do on yourself and how good some people are.
