Had my first attack of gout this weekend! Very debilitating. Irritatingly I don't drink and thought I might escape it.

Excruciating pain in my big toe - apparently it's a classic symptom.

The doctor gave me medication and told me to go vegan for a week or two. That's a big ask for me - hopefully it's only for a week.
