Images like this made me reflect on my own future and the process of growing older.
In #southkorea society, there are so many elderly people
who have to survive by doing all kinds of daily jobs just to get by.
Truly old men and women collecting paper and cardboard day and night,
hauling heavy carts through the streets.

And this is a scene you see in every major city.

We tend to obsess over our expensive high-end analog cameras.
Yet my #Yashica Electro 35 MC, found among some clutter,

also came along on the trip to #Korea. That little thing had already proven itself with #HP5 in its body.

Time for a #holiday on a roll of #Ilford HP5 .

Thurston’s Lobster Pound or simply just “The Dock.” Maine’s wharfs are built out above the water on pilings so that fishermen can access them at both high and low tide. Even at low tide a 50-ft boat can pull directly up next to the wharf. This part of Maine has tides that typically fluctuate by 10-12 ft.

Exposed on Kodak Gold 200 35mm color negative, developed in Adox Rodinal (1to100 dilution) b&w developer for ca. 50 minutes. Scanned w/ Epson V370 & VueScan pro on Linux. Hardware corrections, no further editing. #GrainIsGood ! 😉
