I've been using Notes in iOS connected to my email for ages. It worked mostly fine. But now I have moved to Android.

Would somebody recommend an equivalent app for Android that can pull all my notes from my email ?

Brightness set to the lowest, with night light and the "Extra Dim" setting on, and it still illuminates the whole room when its completely dark.

Is there a hardware limitation that prevents the screen's brightness to go lower, or its just OS developers deciding that the lowest is low enough?

OMG. Ich habe es geschafft. #GrapheneOS ist auf meinem #Pixel9a. Und das mit einem Raspberry Pi 4 mit 1GB verfügbaren Arbeitsspeicher und 20GB Platz. Ich bin echt ins Schwitzen gekommen. :thisIsFine:

I finally did it. I moved my entire photos library from Google photos to #immich. My wife's too.

The only thing Google left on my #grapheneos pixel7 is the sandboxed play services necessary for some paid apps. But otherwise, I'm Google free. I still have a Gmail account for the purpose of using play services. But it's only a dummy account.

The photos was the biggest hurdle, but I'm on the other side now. Feels good.

I'm intrigued to know this.
Does people lurking here actually use Linux itself on their phones, or simply Android as usual?

why the hell does WhatsApp!! support transferring chats out by WiFi Direct but doesn't support transferring in on #grapheneos !!!

When watching videos in #newpipe or #tubular in landscape mode some videos get cropped. How can I change this? I am using #pixel 6a with #grapheneos.

I'm really happy with the switch to #grapheneos on a refurbished google pixel 7.
It's really clean, esp. the notifications center thing.

Too bad that i can't switch the system font to berkeley mono.
And i need another keyboard.
