Boil water advisory just lifted, but Hank had to skip a walk

Thanks to Facebook, home of our community's digital rant and complain board, we heard that an aggressive pitbull had just ripped a dog apart, killing it, on the north end town last evening, just before we were going to go for a walk with Hank. A small knitting project, nearly finished. It appears to be a tiny sweater, and the knitter is working on creating tiny sleeves with black double-point, silver-tipped, needles, maybe size 3 US. The sweater is salmon colored with a paler shade at the bottom.

So many things to update you on! I've been busy this month, and when I wasn't busy, I was moaning about how busy I just was, and then spent hours just vegging out watching TV. I went to Whitehorse for a 15-minute appointment (annual mammogram - no concerns, just have to go when they call me for a yearly check or I get dumped from the list). Visiting Linda and Geoff near Lumby

Hank had a restless night. Was the dinette (converted into a bed) too hard? Was it skipping a walk today? Dunno.

But his leg is a bit better. It looks a bit stiff at times and a bit limpy but not like it is moving completely wrong like yesterday.

Today we drove through Kamloops and Vernon to get to the Lumby area.

It is HOT here ( hot for us anyway). Around 30C.

Day full of worry

This morning we got up to a beautiful blue sky. I waited until after 8am to find the comfort station and a free shower. No line! I guessed the best time perfectly!

Jeff went after me and then we packed up. A truck camper makes things really easy. There isn’t much to do. Make sure nothing is left on the counter, the windows are all closed, the wet towels hung, and the bathroom door latched shut.

one "Hav-a-Hank" handkerchief package rebranded with Hank Venture in place of of the bit "1" and with "handkerchief" changed to "hank-er-chief." Hank Venture is wearing the "Hank"-nametagged Venture jacket with the same white-red-blue stripes as on the "Hav-a-Hank" packaging.

In all these cases the lyrics have been localized to reflect Dutch rural geography, attitudes and stereotypes.
