The sky is full of clouds, which are also reflected in the water. There are a few boats parked up next to a pier. The photographer is standing on a boardwalk, and there is a seagull perched on top of the railing.

New Kit Day

Been a bit of an up and down couple of weeks, MRI showed there isn't a shadow in my head the CT scan showed. But C1 to C6 discs are mush 😅

So treated myself to a lens I have wanted for a long time, been after a decent zoom for a while (would love a 500mm but cost 😆).

Heck of a range of focus, nice focusing and colours etcs are nice. Will play a bit more when it's not doing a 'Cumbria Spring' weather day.

#Hongkong s Victoria Harbour used to be a natural border between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. But as the colony grew a mode of transport was introduced to help bring people and goods from one side to the other - the Star Ferry. The ferry has been in motion across the waters of Hong Kong for more than 130 years and is still serving as an affordable mode of transport today. Increasingly it has become popular with tourists as a trip with the ferry is both, a journey back in time and a low-budget option of a harbour cruise.
To prevent people from melting during the hot and humid #summer the ferry has an air-conditioned section.
Pro-tip: The backs of the seats are reversible and you can decide in which direction you would like to sit.
