Mon périple de Noël est sucré-salé, plein de joies réconfortantes et de deuils cauchemardesques. J’ai décidé de reprendre la broderie pour faire une image toute douce : Cadence concentrée, au calme dans sa chambre.
Je suis impatiente d’y retourner.

1. Yes, #hardcoded #opaque identifiers are a little tiny bit faster in this task that runs for a couple of minutes on an irregular, on-demand basis. But maybe you should look up those monstrosities starting from their #humanfriendly equivalents which are much more descriptive.

2. Fine, you wrote some #shellscript with #LLM. It's not very #DRY and it interfaces poorly with the #pipeline syntax. This will require #commits to a branch, not just a #review.

Tried to change my default terminal emulator to foot, as seen by #GNOME software (e.g. #GNOMENautilus ), and found out that GNOME uses a #hardcoded list of terminal emulators. After looking on Stack Exchange, it appears you can't change it.

Are the answers I was reading out-of-date, or is it a botch and you just can't change your default terminal in GNOME software from the hardcoded list?

#Caido looks nice, but it only supports dark mode apparently (yes, i'm a heretic who likes to work with light, burn me on the stake, ... yes, mistress, harder pls ughhhhh). Gotta try it at some point w/ some Android intercepting, currently HTTPToolkit has the nicest experience there.

And the girls from #HARDCODED are still goated but r/n I currently don't have the spoons to deal with Magda and most of the story involves her currently.

· rendez-vous avec le psy, faire l'inventaire des trucs qui vont pas c'est pas fun.
· broderie pour se remettre. Je tiens la Cadence (hahaha) #hardcoded
· déménagement de la commode désormais vide dans le salon à la place d'une étagère, transfert de tous nos tissus et projets de couture, c'était du boulot mais c'est vraiment classe d'avoir pu remplacer des boites en plastique empilées par une commode fermée.
· entraînement de tir à l'arc. je crois que ma moyenne d'améliore, mais régulièrement une série de flèches incompréhensibles.
· j'ai invité mon époux·e à tester un restaurant en sortant du tir à l'arc, le fish and chips était pas mal. Nous avons fuit le début d'un match de foot à 21h.
· j'ai reçu la notification du Support Nintendo que le transfert de l'île Animal Crossing était prêt, j'ai tout bien suivi les instructions et ça s'est très bien passé. Je n'ai rien dit à @Paw afin de pouvoir
· regarder ensemble le premier épisode d'Agatha All Along, comme on l'avait prévu ;
· et nous avons retrouvé notre île de Nhåntes avec bonheur en pleines préparations des festivités de Bunny Day.

#aujourdhui j’ai brodé. Je crois que je n’ai rien fait d’autre ? Je continue mon grand projet, j’ai commencé un petit projet à côté pour une amoureuse, et planifié un troisième pour mon époux·e.
J’ai rempli le lave-vaisselle et préparé le petit déjeuner.
J’ai vidé Google Drive de tous mes documents personnels, début de migration. Ne restent que les documents récents partagés.
J’ai brodé et ça fait du bien.

Агитацией, на мой взгляд, является сама ситуация. Тут дело не в том даже, лучше ли #linux, чем #windows, а в том, что ситуация, когда подавляющее большинство критической инфраструктуры работает на одной и той же проприетарной #OS, с #hardcoded #updates - это не просто плохо, а опасно для общества.

Сколько писали #Microsoft, что принудительное обновление приводит к падениям систем, что оно неприемлемо для машин, выполняющих задачи с длительным рабочим циклом - а это не только сервера, но и рабочие машины видеомондютажёров, художников, чертёжников и дизайнеров, например - им было плевать, у них же нет конкурентов на ПК. А в итоге их "обновления безопасности" и создали самую большую угрозу безопасности в истории #IT.

А почему нет конкурентов, потому что Linux хуже? Нет, потому что большая часть проприетарного #software просто пишется только под две последние версии Windows и все компании, которые пользуются хоть одной такой программой будут работать на Windows и требовать наличия этих программ и Windows у своих сотрудников - тут #COVID и удалёнка сыграли против свободного #ПО, так как теперь домашние #PC сотрудников должны соответствовать стандартам компании. Та же история с сайтами, которые теперь большинство верстальщиков адаптируют под #Chrome, даже если это идёт в ущерб #w3c. Почему? Потому что на нём сидит подавляющее большинство пользователей в Интернете. А остальные браузеры вынуждены, в результате, переходить на движок от #Google, просто потому, что иначе сайты в их браузерах плохо работают.

И получается замкнутый круг: софт компании используют все, даже если он некачественный и всех бесит, потому что он самый популярный и вокруг него сформировано самое большое сообщество, из-за чего он продолжает оставаться самым популярным. Фактически, это уже #монополия: хотя конкурентов и у Google, и у Microsoft достаточно, но из-за замкнутого круга популярности шансов на значимую долю рынка у них просто нет. По крайней мере, не было до этой ситуации.

Не случайно в этой ситуации даже #Путин со своим импортозамещением выигрышно смотрится: да, его "отечественная система бронирования" скорее всего на порядок хуже, чем корпоративные аналоги, но она выстояла по той единственной причине, что не зависела от обновлений Windows. И диктатор, боящийся в своей стране любой конкуренции, рассказывает всему миру о важности этой самой конкуренции и, что самое позорное, полностью прав. Это финиш, дамы и господа.

А ещё проблемы обошли стороной ту часть инфраструктуры Финляндии, которая до сих пор работает на программном обеспечении от #Nokia.

Теперь же весь мир увидел, как вредно класть все яйца в одну корзину, почему системы надо дублировать, поощряя конкуренцию и что популярность не равна качеству. А к Microsoft, полагаю, уже полетели вопросики об их политике обновлений, причём от тех, кого проигнорировать будет мягко говоря сложнее, чем простых пользователей.
