Here's a little truth nugget 21st Century man ought to be able to swallow -
God doesn't care what you do, and it's quite likely "He" doesn't exist.
If there is such a thing as "the truth" or "right behavior" for human kind, they are hopelessly buried in the compendium of everlasting universal concerns, and there's no head librarian on duty.
