You can find this flower just about everywhere. Pavement, Rockeries, Car Parks etc etc.I like it. Others call it weed.
There are always a number of flowers on each stem and yes they are a bit foxy colored. Usually a slightly bigger one surrounded by smaller ones.
Hence Fox and Cubs.
I had to lppk it up, because at first I did not believe the name was right.
The flower goes also by the name of Hawkweed.

Pilosella aurantiaca aka orange hawkweed, a deep orange flower with a light orange centre from the family Asteraceae, in a field of grass.

Orange hawkweed or the devil's paintbrush. Hieracium aurantiacum is not native to the northern US and Canada. Five states list it as a noxious weed. The leaves and stems which can grow to 3 feet tall are hairy. It has a tendency to invade open areas and dominate quickly pushing out native plants.

This week I was in the Snowy Mountains looking at the NSW Hawkweed Eradication Program. Had a fabulous day amongst alpine wildflowers above Blue Lake just north of Mt Kosciusko - looking for mouse ear hawkweed with dedicated NPWS volunteers.
