Park Min Young in #Healer is refreshing to watch in a sense that there is— how should I put it— an innocence? An honesty? A hesitation? to the chemistry she has with JCW compared to the chemistry she has with her MLs in her more recent AND very popular work, where you know she has gotten so good at it, a real professional. I’m quite keen to see her in this new drama in the works with Wi Ha Joon, another actor who imo can charm people’s pants off. It will be electric, I predict! #kdrama

Given partner's obvious interest in several #kdramas that I had initially thought he would like but were too romancey, I am taking a massive leap and starting him on #TaleOfTheNineTailed. I feel this one is a major risk as it is indeed romance heavy. However, I have always thought that he would like the rest of the story. For extra excitement, I am starting it while we are still watching #Healer. This will either end really well or really badly.

In continued #kdrama and real life connections, #Healer has a lot of tips for how to obscure your identity. He wears turtlenecks to obscure his jawline; a hoodie to hide his ears and general face shape; irregular, darkened lenses on his glasses to further obscure his face; black clothes layered on to cover his body; a heavily padded leather jacket to alter his frame. Not saying this is a strong how to, but there was definitely some thought put into this.

Going through Viki's offerings to see if there is anything my partner would like to watch. I see they have #UnlockMyBoss which we watched on Netflix, and we really enjoyed it. After my experiences with #Healer and the differences in translation from Kocowa and Viki, I really want a rewatch of #UnlockMyBoss onViki now. 🤔

@mel @joakimfors #Healer is my addiction. I watched #Vincenzo too but I find it annoying that the mafia is romanticised to the point of misinformation. It is hilarious, though the typically Korean-style romance doesn't go with a mafia boss.

That being written there's some remarkable acting. Not only Song Jong-ki, but also Ok Taec-yeon is nailing the role.

I am doing two rewatches with my partner now, #Healer and #FermatsCuisine. I am enjoying both of them again. I wonder what else I have already watched that he would like. I thought about these two for a long time, and he is really liking them so far.
