Reconstituer l’histoire éruptive d’un volcan est un travail qui repose sur plusieurs types d’informations. Il y a les archives géologiques bien sûr, et leur succession de dépôts dont les datations permettent d’établir une chronologie éruptive. Pour l’époque récente, les géologues s’appuient aussi sur les archives historiques. On pense souvent aux textes, mais les images fournissent également de précieux renseignements, comme l’illustre cette étude du complexe volcanique Kusatsu-Shiranesan, un des plus actifs du Japon. https://doi.org/10.1007/s00445-025-01890-5

Als Bundesministers für Verkehr setzte er gegen den Widerstand des ADAC ein #Tempolimit von 100 km/h auf Landstraßen durch.
Mit der unbefristeten Einführung des gleichen Tempolimits auf Autobahnen scheiterte er, nicht zuletzt an einer Kampagne des #ADAC und von #BILD, in der die ADAC-Parole "Freie Fahrt für freie Bürger" eine Rolle spielte.

#OTD 1907: Rosa Luxemburg in #Kiel. Sie spricht kurz vor der Reichstagswahl im "Kaisersaal" an der Werftstraße. Das Interesse war so groß, dass der Saal eine halbe Stunde vor Beginn ihrer Rede überfüllt war und von der Polizei gesperrt wurde. Eine Besucherin berichtete:
"Die Menschen sind weiter über den Garten und die Kegelbahn durch die Fenster gestiegen."

This gives the second half, and an assessment of how she works through spatial acts, equivalences, stacking of salvic things, and completeness articulated through binaries.
