Rome, summer 2025

Finally sharing some work online again 🌿 After three months on the road, I’m back in Rome. In that time, I took part in 2 artist residencies, joined 4 exhibitions, and traveled entirely by train or hitchhiking — from Rome to Frisia, Denmark, and finishing in Latvia.

I’m not very active on socials these days, but a website update will come soon(ish) — along with news about 2 upcoming exhibitions.

Spent one hour on a great #hitchhiking spot in Slavske, #ukraine. Didn't get picked up and I'm now in the #train like a muggle. At least the trains are frequent, cheap, faster than cars and on time.

Today I got the longest #hitchhiking ride of my life, from 5km after Alta (Norway) to the outskirts of Luleå (Sweden). 592km in a little over 7h.
The day didn't start so well (hitchhiking wise) with lots of waiting and little progress and then the stars aligned ⭐⭐⭐

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon in November of 2024. I hitchhiked a few miles past it and watched the northern lights flicker as I slept in an alcove of boulders. The sunrise painted the sky a deep peach as I hit the road early in the morning to check out the glacier. I hitched a ride with a semi truck and hung out there the whole day. If you walk a few hundred feet past the main viewing area, you get the views all to yourself. It always blows my mind that no matter what country you're in, people are just lazy as fuck, and don't wanna put in any effort to walk at all.

I spent some of the night under the bridge watching the northern lights dance over the floating bits of ice that were floating in the lagoon. All in all, it was worth the trip out there.
