I'm really impressed with The Home Depot service. I'd thought of a small project through the weekend and ordered some materials by the late night yesterday. This morning I got an email that the items are out for #delivery with a tracking link attached. I was fascinated with the clean, even simplistic design of the tracking page and watched the tiny car zooming through the streets on my mobile screen.
It was so real time that when the page showed that the vehicle had parked on my driveway my front yard camera went off letting me know that someone was on the driveway. And the best part? - no boxes, no filthy foam packaging fillers, only an ordinary THD branded bag with small items in it and the rest of the stuff neatly stacked in the corner of my porch.
