most #homeless people already have jobs. The problem isn’t that they’re lazy, unmotivated, unskilled, or even unable to find work in a lot of cases. The problem is that wages have not kept pace with the rising cost of housing in towns and cities all across the country.

This program will not solve that problem. Work-first will not solve that problem. Tough love will not solve that problem—unless you plan to apply it to the CEOs and corporations that are keeping wages low and rents high.
