A #humpback #whale was spotted off the British coast of #Kent, according to the BBC. The sighting was reported to the Kent Dolphin Project, which solicits local footage of whales, porpoises, and dolphins to monitor population health.
Volunteers were quite excited by the find. Humpback #whales were previously endangered, but conservation efforts have helped populations rebound. There have been other recent sightings of humpbacks in #Cornwall & #Sussex.

I remember this story. Don't know why they don't explain better. The injured whale was looking for help or food, and kept evading the other male. But he was tired from not being able to eat with his broken jaw, so he couldn't escape and allowed himself to be raped. That's how the article explained it a couple years ago. This article points out that over 1,500 animal species have been documented to exhibit homosexual behavior.
