Still a lot work to do, but for the first time, we got completely integrated CI testing of kernels running... on a phone! For what I know, this is a first for a non-multi-million-euro-company in the FOSS world!! Can't be more proud of it and all the people that helped during this journey.

There's still a long road ahead, but in the future we might be able to automate kernel upgrades with a lot less manual testing, and continue working the "reliability" goal we presented in https://postmarketos.org/blog/2025/03/30/pmOS-year-priorities/

@wortsalatfinchen Hallo Finchen, es gibt ein kleines Perl Progrämmchen namens hw-probe. Du kannst es im Terminal "sudo apt-get install hw-probe" installieren und dann mit "sudo -E hw-probe -all -upload" im Terminal ausführen. Wenn es durchgelaufen ist, zeigt es einen Link an. Den herauskopieren und im Browser einfügen. Es werden dann alle Geräte und installierten Treiber deines PCs angezeigt und Hinweise auf Treiber gegeben.

На хозяйстве новая игрушка: PineTab 2.

Первые впечатления: упаковка абсолютно поганая, явно скопировали с apple — коробка в коробке в коробке в коробке, и везде ОЧЕНЬ ПЛОТНЫЙ картон, который хрен разрежешь, и который лучше бы было пустить на что-то реально полезное, а планшет нормально было бы и просто в пупырку завернуть.

Сама железка выглядит как нормальный планшет из золотой эпохи планшетов, что-то типа Galaxy Tab 2 по первому впечатлению. По дефолту реагирует на нажатия с приемлемой задержкой где-то в двести-триста миллисекунд, но если не долбить его постоянно, то приемлемо.

Грузится, как обычный рачий линукс с системдой, WiFi завёлся даже с заводской прошивкой, несмотря на предупреждения на их wiki, что мог бы и не работать, дефолтный десктоп — KDE, который работает, как типичный KDE (ну насколько KDE в принципе может работать) — по акселерометру переворачивается не туда, клавиатуру выдаёт с произвольной стороны, но обязательно так, чтобы закрыть поле ввода, менюшка открывается с лагами и в трёх FPS, зато с анимацией. Но в целом интерфейс делает то, что должен.

Родная клавиатура подключилась, один раз позволила набрать одну букву, и отрубилась намертво, пока не понял куда. Но раз букву набрал, значит в принципе она работает. Приемлемо.

Вот теперь из этой заготовочки буду готовить очередную боевую кибердеку, будет у меня ещё один компактный переносной емакс. В целом железка норм, выкинуть всё лишнее — будет вполне пригодный к походной эксплуатации компьютер, надо будет только проверить, сколько батарейка держит. С другой стороны, я же выкину оттуда нахрен весь лишний гуй и всё, что жрёт батарею и грузит CPU, так что должно быть нормально. В общем, буду держать в курсе по тегу #pinetab2

So we started our #adventure of #Heavensward (#HW) in #FFXIV by exploring the #architecture of #Ishguard. The Foundation absolutely looks #desolate and the lack of players makes it seem abandoned, adding to the #aesthetics. The surrounding areas feel so vast and empty, adding such a nice charm.

It’s been such a hot minute since the last time I played #FFXIV, that it even asked if I wanted a returner boost. I’m still in #ARR and almost level 60, I think I’m good 🤣. We wrapped up #patch 2.5 with the memorial of #Moenbryda, a death that still stings. However the time to grief is short lived as we witness the #Dravanian Horde flying towards #Ishgard. We come to find out that Lady #Iceheart is leading this attack. I believe this is were we start ARR 2.55, the last few #quests prior to #HW.

Еще непонятный момент. В данном случае, за идеальным состоянием я не гнался, только что дисплей под плёнкой, поэтому вообще в идеале. Но аккумулятор. Смартфоном явно пользовались и очень много, а батарейке вообще плевать.
Вряд ли второй раз получается так, что разные продавцы комплектуют девайс оригинальным аккумулятором из более свежего, но совсем дохлого чего-то.
Зачем взял второй 5230? А вот именно, чтобы был и такой, который вообще не жалко. #Nokia #HW

Взял за 500 рублей условный трупик 5230.
Ну всё как и ожидалось, из Local Mode фениксом вывел, а там индикатор батарейки завис на 0 и "не заряжается".
Поскольку это еще та самая настоящая Nokia. Эта срань тараканов переживёт после ЯВ.
Судорожно чистим терморезистор и его окрестности. BSI нормализуется с 44 кОм до 97 кОм — зарядка работает, загрузка сразу в обычный режим.
Заодно и все остальные внутренности вычистил.
