Regarding the dude who used to live at my address (37+ years ago) for whom we have been receiving mailed financial documents, I have additional evidence that this is due to #identityTheft… Yesterday "he" received at our address a mailing from a car dealership. I can see the words "NOTICE OF ADVERSE" through the return address window. I.e., this is the legally required notification that someone applied for an auto loan in his name at the dealership and they rejected it.

In the past couple months, important-looking personal-finance-related mailings have been showing up at our house, addressed to someone who hasn't lived at this address in nearly 28 years (before we bought the house).
I have been writing "no such addressee" on all of them and putting them out for the mail carrier to return them to their senders.
I suspect that this individual has been the victim of #identityTheft using our address as their home address.
I would hate to be them right about now.

Noah Urban, aka "King Bob" and a suspected member of Scattered Spider, pleaded guilty this week in a case involving wire fraud, cryptocurrency theft, phishing, and simswapping. He had cases against him in Florida and California. Other people indicted with him have yet to be tried or to make plea deals, and one young man from Scotland has been detained in Spain pending determination of extradition request (I haven't found any update on the extradition case).
