It’s a bit that time of year when we look back on the past year #2025
including what happened here on Pixelfed.

One important thing in 2025 was that my Voigtländer Bessa R3A was finally repaired. In fact, it took almost two years — with interruptions — before it was working perfectly again. And in the end, it was actually me who discovered the reason why it sometimes produced partial double exposures without me wanting it to (a disaster if you like a camera but can't trust it ).

But in spring at last I could take it for a walk with the dog...

It’s a bit that time of year when we look back on the past year #2025 including what happened here on Pixelfed.

In 2025, I hardly did any photoshoots, except for one with Helen,
a constant value ! And “value” is really an understatement.
It’s great to work with a #model and feel a kind of friendship !

But there was another frustration… My first shoot with her in ’22, I think, produced many beautiful analog photos, but part of them were badly scanned by my lab. As a result, I struggled enormously with raster patterns during editing (I hate that). Recently, I decided to run them through an AI program to see what it could do, and this is the result.
The raster is gone, but you still don’t quite get what you want…

And another reflection about other photos…
On top of that, it’s filtered through American prudish thinking, so a photo with a bare nipple simply won’t get processed. Just imagine what a naked nipple could apparently unleash upon our world, of course!
