Ohne Bedenken und selbstverständlich sind wir mit unsem digitalen, und daraus resultierend größtenteils auch unserem analogen Alltag, mit Haut und Haar einer handvoll US-amerikanischer Monopolfirmen ausgeliefert. In Ihrem unmittelbaren Zugriffsbereich und von ihren nicht gemeinnützigen Entscheidungen abhängig sind unsere:

Emailnachrichten (persönliche private, geschäftliche und behördlich-administrative…)
Kalendertermine,
Kontaktdaten,
Planungs- und Organisationstools,
Versionsverwaltung,
Socialmedia
Betriebssysteme (für Desktops als auch für Smartphones)
… beliebige andere Systemrelevante Software

Seit Trump wieder Präsident ist bekommt diese einseitige Abhängigkeit eine neue Bedeutung. Insbesondere, weil die auch finanziell mächtigsten Akteure (gendern hier nicht nötig) gerade dabei sind, die USA in eine Oligarchie zu verwandeln.

Ich glaube spätestens jetzt sollten alle Menschen in Europa, in Deutschland darüber nachdenken das schleunigst zu ändern! Es gibt zu nahezu allen gängigen Anwendungen freie FLOSS (Free/Libre Open Source Software) Alternativen.

Es ist höchste Zeit diese endlich zu unterstützen und zu nutzen! #ilovefreesoftwareday #ilovefreesoftware

I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who contributes to #FOSS projects and thereby increases various levels of freedom, including the #digitalsovereignty.

Since I have many product leaders in my bubble, I would like to encourage you to reflect on these two questions:
- How can you support the FOSS projects you use?
- Does your next product need to be closed sourced or can you release it as a FOSS?
