It takes on the topic of intergenerational #trauma from the #residentialschool system and the resulting #parenting learned from #survivors.

Hey, Viktor!, a #mockumentary by Cody Lightning, is a #rowdy reference back to Lightning’s earliest days in #movies playing young Victor Joseph in #SmokeSignals.
The film is closing the #imagineNATIVE #Film + #Media #Arts #Festival and will be shown in #Vancouver, #Calgary and #Edmonton as well.
Watch for it in select festivals in the U.S. and in #theatres soon.

Kikino Kids, a short children’s film, will stream from May 20 to May 26 as part of the imagineNATIVE festival.
Kikino Kids comes from the imagination of the youth at the Kikino Métis Settlement. The story is about two kids who fall in love.
