Indiana Jones y el Gran Círculo (Xbox Series S)
Como fan de las películas de Indiana Jones no he podido salir más satisfecho con este juego, a pesar de algún fallo.
En este juego de acción y aventuras en 1ª persona, situado entre las películas "En busca del Arca Perdida" y "La Última Cruzada", nos pondremos en la piel (y sombrero) de Indy, el cual tras un robo en la universidad se embarca en una aventura alrededor del mundo para descubrir los secretos del misterioso Gran Círculo y evitar que caigan en malas manos.
El juego se desarrolla principalmente en 3 grandes escenarios (también habrá otros más pequeños y lineales) en los que nos moveremos con relativa libertad ya que hay enemigos y zonas prohibidas, pero podremos conseguir disfraces para ayudarnos a movernos. En estos escenarios tendremos tanto misiones principales como todo tipo de contenido secundario (misiones, misterios y coleccionables) todo ello con mucha exploración y puzles de por medio.
También tendremos acción con un combate cuerpo a cuerpo a puñetazos algo sencillo, con golpes cargados, esquivas, contraataques y montones de objetos en los escenarios que usar como arma. Además habrá armas de fuego aunque su uso dista mucho de un típico shooter; normalmente tendremos una pistola pero encontraremos poca munición y se puede romper, a eso hay que añadir que las armas de los enemigos no se podrán recargar, una vez agotada la munición solo sirven para cuerpo a cuerpo. El combate y el gunplay pueden ser algo tosco pero quiere ser fiel a como es Indy. Lo mejor es evitar peleas innecesarias usando el sigilo, el cual es bastante simple.
Seguramente el mayor fallo del juego está en la IA enemiga. Con enemigos que no se dan cuenta de que te estás peleando cerca, si te descubren se olvidan de ti en cuanto te escondes un rato o te alejas y grupos de enemigos que te atacan por turnos.
En general es un juego de acción y aventuras repleto de puzles recomendable, sobre todo para los fan del personaje que sabrán pasar por alto algunas de sus carencias. Si no eres fan entonces puede que haya propuestas en el género que os gusten más.

Since I mentioned it on @sonneveld 's stream: some truly amazing WIP programmer art of the ending of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.
I have mixed feelings about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It does a great job recreating the atmosphere of the Indy movies. But the gameplay can be tedious & obtuse at times. (I nearly gave up in the Vatican when it tells you to be stealthy & sneaky, but apparently actually expects you to bust through an enemy-laden barricade.)
Also, I think I'm about 2/3 of the way through the game, and I've never actually found one of the supposed Pharmacies where you can upgrade your stats. You seemingly lose your upgrade currency in each new area, so 🤷♂️.
Also, wrestling with the performance & jank that is exclusive to the PC Game Pass version can drive a guy nuts.
Prior to cancelling my Disney+ subscription, I finally got around to watching Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
Perhaps surprisingly (well it surprised me), I did not hate it.

Finished playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle last night, and then I see that /NoClip put out a "Making of" doc yesterday as well. Perfect timing!
Truly a fantastically well executed game. Story, cinematics, acting, lighting, set pieces, puzzles, action. Everything that you could possibly ask for. Taking a shovel to the back of a fascist's head never got old.
I love the documentaries that /noclip make. They're full of interesting interviews, fascinating information, and are really engaging even when I haven't played the game.
Here's the latest one, about the excellent "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" and how a studio that generally made shooters like Wolfenstein managed to create a fun adventure game with very little shooting and great 80s Indiana Jones atmosphere.
