A night at the o̶p̶e̶r̶a̶ theatre

I never actually posted my TIC6 zine piece?? A crime. A sin!

Allow me to fix that and offer you: two (2) disaster spouses at the theatre, aggressively not watching the show because they’re too busy making heart-eyes like they’re in a Regency romance directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Meanwhile the poor actors on stage are performing their lungs out while these two are like: Plot? Never heard of her. I only see my husband.

"This Gentle Gravity"

This one had been rotting in my WIP dungeon since forever!

My comfort humans and the reason why we should all become lesbians showed me their desk and there was a stunning postcard (see pic 2) that made my heart scream “Ineffablyfy thisRN!”

My inner perfectionist had a meltdown trying to get their expressions right. 87 attempts later I finally said “close enough” and accepted the imperfections to avoid eternal WIP purgatory.

I took a Patreon and Social Media break in October and it was phenomenal! 10/10, would vanish into the void again. I rested, I vibed, and yes… I actually slept. Like, multiple times. It was glorious. Peak human experience. Highly recommend.

Now I'm re-caffeinated and back, so obviously this month's Ineffable Card had to be coffee themed (This artist runs exclusively on caffeine, serotonin, and repressed pining).

It’s Ineffable Era o’clock!

Poor angel thinks his lie will yeet him straight to Hell but even if, Crawley would be down there immediately like “Worry not, my angelic Eccles Cake, I’ll be your tour guide. Who looked at you funny? POINT THEM OUT!”

Meanwhile the fandom collectively went from “Why are you doing this to David?!” to “PLEASE STEP ON ME, GOATEE KING!” in 0.2 seconds. The simp whiplash is real.

It’s my birthday month (Hi fellow libras! 👋) so I get a free pass to traumatise y’all with an EVERY jumpscare in this month’s Ineffable Card.

The first version literally summarises season 2’s entire plot in one (1) phrase and the second version was thrown in as a courtesy by the wonderful Lexi (@leximohneyofficial on IG) Iwhen I had an acute case of the second guesses! Thank you, Lexi!

ART GLOW-UP!

I drew this in 2023 (my artistic fetus era) when my Patr30n was just a ”please don’t look at my abominable line art” cry for help. This was one of like, 3 pieces that didn’t immediately make me want to yeet my tablet into the void.

Fast forward 1.5 years and at least 87 ineffable meltdowns later I had to see if my skills finally matched the vibes in my head.

I’ve committed exactly one crime in my life: 11-year-old me CRIMINAL MASTERMIND sneaking into like it was my villain origin story, fake bus pass and all.

Why? Because little autistic gremlin me was OBSESSED with that doomed boat since, idk, the womb?

Cut to me not so long ago at a Titanic lecture, realising I’m still mentally ill about this ship and that I need to mix my boat brainrot with the who’ve been vibing in my head rent-free for years!

This is the result!

A patron requested an April showers scene where:

☔ Aziraphale is serving Broadway main character vibes, belting “Singin’ in the Rain” like the stroll is his personal Glee audition.

☔ Crowley is mortified/simultaneously in love/soaked rat combo trapped under an umbrella.

They ask, I deliver and y'all have to deal with it!

Page 1: A grayscale comic shows Aziraphale and Crowley walking in the rain, sharing one tartan umbrellas. Aziraphale talks animatedly about how much he loves the rain, describing its freshness and liveliness. Crowley listens, not at all enjoying the rain, responding with monosyllables. Aziraphale exclaims that everything feels alive, emphasising “everything”, causing Crowley to gulp nervously.Page 2: Crowley panics, shouting “No!” repeatedly as Aziraphale runs off from under the umbrella, ignoring him. Aziraphale begins dancing and singing “Singin’ in the Rain” exuberantly, Gene Kelly-style, slowly getting drenched by the rain. Crowley stands still and watches Aziraphale with a defeated expression, sighing in resign. Aziraphale suddenly turns to Crowley and shouts “Ready, dear?” while he grabs the demons wrist, causing Crowley to let go of the umbrella.Page 3: In a dynamic black-and-white sequence, Aziraphale pulls Crowley toward him, the sunglasses and umbrella fly off. Aziraphale smiles at Crowley, full of love, saying “Hello.” because of the sudden closeness. Crowley looks flushed and surprised and stammers “H-hi…” while thinking, “Goddammit, I love that idiot!”
