The problem with political correctness is that if you want to be correct than you have to deal with your feelings.

Many people don't want to do that.

They want to go on assuming this one is a friend and this one is an enemy according to superficial outer markers.

They don't want to her the tone that suggest contempt

and most of all they want to believe that they are running their life's and not something inside that they don't even understand.

Terrible thought

makes them feel weak

but these people who hate political correctness or wokeness

they love power more than anything

that's how they grew up

sucking up to people who hold power

that's their personality

no wonder wokeness is a problem for them

who wants to change ones Modus Vivendi?

After returning from artist in residence in Spain I decided to continue with the series: Inner moves in the studio in The Hague.
podcasts I listen to that are now not connected to the individual drawings with words in the drawings. The first one excepted. 'What is a woman' it says in the first of this series. Together, the sheets of paper were part of an installation in a display case at a Berlin subway station in 2020. The FeMaler project can be found here. link

all parts of the installation now revolve around figures arriving at the next work of art through associations and pareidolia.
Coming to a form expressing a movement of a figure a being a character a role player actor from the wings of memory. evoked by the director of chance.
So I am the one who has a director in the house but I don't have much control over that directing factor. however, I am able to elaborate on the drawing as far as possible. my refinements I tackle like embroidery. Lines with markers and areas with paint. I use pencil for even more subtle nuances and color blends.

podcasts luister ik die nu niet met woorden in de tekeningen worden verbonden aan de afzonderlijke tekeningen. De eerste uitgezonderd. 'What is a woman' staat er in de eerste van deze serie. De vellen papier zijn samen in 2020 onderdeel geweest van een installatie in een vitrine van een metrostation in Berlijn. Het project FeMaler is terug te vinden hier. link

alle delen van de installatie staan nu in het teken van figuren die via associaties en pareidolie tot een volgend kunstwerk komen.
Tot een vorm komen die een beweging uitdrukken van een figuur een wezen een karakter een rolspelende speler acteur van uit de coulissen van het geheugen. opgeroepen door de regisseur van het toeval.
Dus ik ben wel degene die een regisseur in huis heeft maar ik heb niet veel vat op die aansturende factor. wel kan ik zo ver mogelijk doorborduren op de tekening. mijn verfijningen pak ik als borduursels aan. Lijnen met markers en vlakken met verf. Potlood gebruik ik voor nog subtielere nuances en kleurmengingen.
