Three Medieval round bottom pots, found in the rubble of streetworks in the town centre of Venlo.
These high fired, reduction fired earthenware pots were locally made between the 9th and the 12th C.

Round bottom pots in Western-Europe were not only made in pre-historic times but also far into the Middle-Ages. These high-fired round bottom earthenware pots were made all over Europe.
These pots from Brüggen-Öbel and Elmpt were made between the 9th and the 11th C.

Throwing new cups for the cafe of our local friendly ceramics museum, Keramiek Museum Tegelen.
The museum houses a choice of ceramics made in the local/regional slipware tradition plus an important collection of modern and contemporary European ceramic art.
Their current exhibition Rauw/Raw is absolutly worth a visit.
