porn is the solution, not the problem. If nonsexual nudity (or even just female nipples) were allowed to exist ALONGSIDE porn, it would just demonstrate the difference between the two that much more clearly.

Every time I see someone try to claim that "elder daughter syndrome" is "just parentification" I want to bite glass.

I'm not saying parentification is a bad term. I think it's a GREAT term to describe the general concept! I think it's a good and important umbrella term! But there is an inherently gendered aspect to the subset of parentification we call "elder daughter syndrome" and I think you do everyone a disservice when you pretend that it doesn't exist.

Because when you try to dismiss people using the term "elder daughter syndrome" you are saying "the specifically gendered ways you were parentified don't matter and were not harmful to you".

Sorry to be a broken record about this, but #gender based #censorship makes NO SENSE (except "because #patriarchy"). It doesn't happen often, but what keeps me going in my seemingly-fruitless endeavor to raise awareness about and hopefully change the bs status quo of "female - looking nipples" getting banned online and in public as "sexually explicit nudity" but not "male-looking nipples" is when someone comments to me "you know, I never really thought about topless inequality before, but now that you've pointed it out, you're right--it IS sexist and doesn't make sense!"
