Iranian state TV broadcast the parliament session live. #Qalibaf, a hard-liner who has run for the presidency in the past, gave a speech applauding police & the #Iran paramilitary Revolutionary Guard [#IRGC], particularly its all-volunteer #Basij, for having “stood firm” during the #protests.
He went on to directly threaten #Israel, “the occupied territory” as he referred to it, and the #US #military, possibly with a pre-emptive strike.

The #IRGC in #Iran has now isolated the entire country from the Internet, and arrested journalists covering the revolution. This is the moment things could get VERY ugly. This is also likely the final stage of the fall of the IRGC.
And for reporting this, Mayhar Tousi of #TousiTV is now facing enough death threats that he can't go out in public.
