[14:40] Trial date set for two men accused of disposing Keane Mulready Woods’ body parts

Two men accused of disposing of the body parts of murdered teenager Keane Mulready Woods have today received a date for trial at the Special Criminal Court. Stephen Carberry (47) of Sandymount Avenue, Dublin 4 and Glen Bride (31) of Mount Olive Park, Kilbarrick, Dublin 5 appeared briefly before the three-judge, non-jury court this morning. Keane Mulready-Woods was last seen alive in Drogheda on January 12, 2020. The following day, some of the teenager's body parts were found in a sports bag in the Moatview area of Coolock in Dublin. Two days later, remains were found in a burning car in a laneway in the Drumcondra area. His torso was discovered on March 11, 2020, hidden in an overgrown ravine during a search of waste-ground at Rathmullan Park in Drogheda, near where the teenager is believed to have been murdered. Stephen Carberry faces three charges in relation to the death of the 17-year-old, who was murdered in a house in Drogheda, Co Louth, in January 2020. The first charge alleges that Mr Carberry, between January 13 and January 15, 2020 at Trinity Terrace, Ballybough, Dublin 3 transported and disposed of the teenager's body parts, intending or being reckless as to whether such activity could enhance the ability of a criminal organisation or any of its members to carry out a serious offence. The offence is contrary to S.72 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2006. Mr Carberry is also accused of committing an act with the intention of impeding the apprehension or prosecution of Mr Mulready Woods' murderer and of setting fire to a Volvo V40 car for the benefit of a criminal organisation. Glen Bride faces two charges that on January 15, 2020 he participated in or contributed to the transportation and disposal of the teenager's body parts for the purpose of enhancing the ability of a criminal organisation to commit murder and to impede the apprehension of the murderer. Mr Bride is further charged with setting fire to a Volvo V40 motor car on a date between January 13 and January 15, 2020, both dates inclusive, for the benefit of a criminal organisation. Ms Justice Melanie Greally this morning set a date of January 12th, 2026 for the trial of the two men and agreed to make witness and exhibit orders for the hearing. The case will be mentioned again before the Special Criminal Court again on October 6 next.

@Milkman76 @skua

The accuracy of China's COVID data from to is probably better than most countries.

But most countries set the bar VERY low.

The least accurate data is probably or or - but which of those depends how you quantify the inaccuracy.

There is a good paper on Russia's by Dmitry Kobak

I'm still wondering whether this being fashion in is part of what saved (for the first 2 years)?

Neither of these would be very effective, but they were probably just the most photogenic, and even these might work a bit on pre-alpha variants?
