Random thought for those that are wondering what to switch to now that #Wordpress has apparently gone rogue and can't be trusted any more.

Depending on your needs does #Mediawiki fit? MW markdown but it is forms driven.

I've seen some sites with custom themes that look unlike Mediawiki. Sorry, examples escape, maybe I'll try to find some when back in front of the computer.

FWIW been running MW for archiving personal data for ~15 years. Been solid as a rock short of stupid human tricks.

Side view of a white, 3 engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the rear fuselage, taxiing from left to right.
The plane has a grey belly, a red and white tail with a white flame, and blue "JAT" titles on the upper forward fuselage, with very light grey "Jugoslovenski Aerotransport" titles ("Yugoslav Airlines" in Serbian) further to the rear.
The taxiway the plane is on has raised orange and white vertical stripes marking it's edges, with metal mesh covering the ground on either side of the taxiway.
There is a tall grey tower rising out of the top of the shot, with several clock faces on the side, and an array of grey buildings extending out in all directions behind that, some with angled red roofs.
Grass and taxiways lead up to trees vanishing into mist in the far distance, under grim grey skies.

I’ve read comments on my TL about how the #JAT #日本翻訳者協会 event organisers need to communicate better.

I know some of the board members, and they’re quite busy as successful translators/interpreters themselves. The president and vice president, who are my friends, hardly have any free time.

It seems they might be short on resources for promoting events and connecting with members. Perhaps you could provide direct feedback to help them enhance communication with members?

Side view of a high-winged, 4 jet-engined cargo plane, parked facing to the left. The plane is mostly white, with a grey belly, and a thick blue stripe running along the fuselage, as well as "Aeroflot" titles in a Russian script on the upper forward fuselage. The tail is white, with the registration "RA-76529" at the base, and a Russian flag (equal white, blue, and red horizontal stripes) outlines in black in the middle. The wings have 2 engines suspended under neath them - the outer engine on this side is a standard jet engine, but the inner engine has been replaced with one with 8 very curved grey propellor blades. The lower half of the nose cone is extensively glazed, bulging down below the rest of the body. There is a blue and grey airport tug attached to the planes nose wheel by a long yellow pole. Green grass fills the foreground, with rows of trees in the background, under a blue-grey sky.Side view of a twin engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the rear fuselage moving from left to right. The thrust reversers on the back of the engines have been deployed, suggesting it has just landed. The plane is mostly white, with a red and blue stripe running along the body. The tail is mostly blue, with a red oval outlined in white, with white "JAT" titles in the middle. Grass and a taxiway fills the foreground, with the background being more grass running off to trees lining the airfield perimeter in the far distance, under a grey-blue sky.Side view of a twin engined jet airliner with the engines mounted on the rear fuselage, parked facing to the right. The plane is mostly white, with a grey belly, and a brown and black stripe running along the middle of the fuselage under the cabin windows, as well as over the engine pods. There are red "swissair" titles on the upper forward fuselage, with the registration "HB-INU" on the tailcone in black. The tail is red, with a large white cross in the middle. There are 3 cargo bay doors open in the belly, 2 forward of the wing, and 1 aft. The planes rear airstairs are deployed, coming down from below the rear fuselage, between the engines. In the background, several almost identical planes are clustered around, as well as a similar looking but slightly smaller plane in front of the red and blue sign with "Flughafenbahn" titles. A couple of larger planes in the same colours can be seen further back, with a larger plane in predominantly white and yellow right at the back. Buildings obscured by haze dominate the skyline, under a blanket of grey cloud.
