Being able to see unopened chests on the world map is such a wonderful ability! I got some rumors done and opened any chest that was accessible while doing this in Jedi: Survivor!

Still annoyed with how Cal sometimes doesn't do what I want him to do...However, I'm getting better at avoiding untimely ends (still biffing it despite being somewhat more aware).

One thing that I am noticing is that if I don't completely align with a very specific spot...

Cal won't do what I want and fall to his death, the sweet spot should be a bit wider, especially for things he could normally grab onto. Even slight angle differences will end in utter doom. I was in Platformer hell for a very specific planet; until I narrowed down to pinpoint a specific spot the game wanted me to jump or otherwise climb from.

That was annoying, but, the game is relatively good despite this complaint. No crashes, combat mostly feels good (especially the Double Lightsaber and Blaster/Lightsaber stances).

I'm hunting for chests in Jedi: Survivor so I can play fashion wars with Cal...He already looks handsome in the Bomber Jacket, Fronter Pants, Full Beard. Ugh, I hope to find more apparel for this man, so Cal becomes the ultimate thirst trap: Gay Edition.

Even though I know he's implied to be straight and into a particular character from the previous game...

Finished Star Wars Jedi: Survivor a couple of weeks ago, and wow, what an incredible continuation of Cal's journey! The gameplay feels so refined from Fallen Order, and the story had me completely hooked. That ending though... definitely left me with an "Oh, this is it?" moment. Now I'm impatiently waiting for the next chapter in this adventure. Anyone else feeling the same post-Jedi emptiness?

It's wild that on #Steam it says #JediSurvivor is not supported on the #SteamDeck while it does run on the lowest settings rather well with consistent 30fps (not the cut scenes, the cinematics are stuttering at times).

Picked #StarWars #JediSurvivor up in a Steam Sale. Played this on my Xbox when it came out and now on #SteamDeck. Can confirm that 30fps are stable on low settings while playing, cinematics go down to 24, if lots of stuff happens to 14. But overall quite enjoyable on the Deck!

You wouldn't think a AAA single player title from 2023 would still be unstable and crash repeatedly (3 of which were within in about 20 minutes of gameplay), but there you go.
