As a seven year old child, I was taught by a graduate student of my father's, how to inflate a jellyfish and pop it like a paper bag. When I asked how we could be so cruel, I was told we might even be helping it to reproduce.

I would not do it now. I love the little jellyfish. Now I paint pictures of them and put them in stories.
I doubt that makes amends.
