I live in #Jersey where we have a much higher than average number of people in that 5-30m bracket. I run into a fair few of them professionally.
I can assure you that this level of wealth seriously dominates their life and skews all interactions they have. They can never be a nornal person in a pub. Their kids will always show their privilege. They ALWAYS have privileged (ie deeply capitalist) politics. And they are really often lonely and sad.
