I put a vintage polish on the 925 silver, took two component adhesive to keep the cover in place and fastened the jack.
Now the bass is back from the dead and ready to rock! 🎸

Last things to be done. Blackening the 925 silver in a stinky sulfur bath 😷😂 = more contrast with the 585 gold. Lay the cables in neatly, repairing a broken spot with black resin.

Part 5

I put a hammering pattern on the lower layer and soldered both 925 silver pieces together. Checked if it was still fitting with the jack socket. Finished with soldering four solid 585 / 14k golden stars on top.
