As we’d gone to bed a bit earlier, my alarm woke me up a bit earlier as well. I don’t mind caring for Bas, it’s for a good cause. But, sometimes it can be nice to have a night where I can wake up naturally. I know that these times won’t last… As soon as I have a new brown fluff in my life, I am stuck to puppy wee-times, and set alarms again for that. But yeah, when I feel like this, some more sleep would have been nice too. Ah well…
I got to the scale, grumbled, got dressed. I took my meds, put on my shoes, and headed out for walkies with Bas. He did his things, and then we got upstairs so I could get my exercises in. I rode the bike for an hour, I managed to row 150 strokes on level 4 in 5 minutes… And then we got back downstairs again, where I walked the treadmill for 20 minutes. I washed up, got dressed again, and I headed out with Bas for another walk.
When we got back, we got to the couch, where I grabbed my laptop. I worked on my blog for a while, wrote my journal toot, worked a bit with some AI stuff. I watched some telly as well. When I was done with all of that, I switched to my Kobo, and I tried to finish the book I had been reading, Fool Moon by Jim Butcher. I finished the book, and wrote the book toot on Mastodon.
I was getting hungry, so I fixed some food. After we’d enjoyed some nice nuggets, we chilled for a bit, before we headed out for another walk. When we got back again, we got back to the couch, and I read for a bit. Then, I remembered that I should start the dishwasher. It worked it’s magic, while I read some more, until it was time to walk one more time with Bas. I had to go to Cuijk for my physio, so I was hoping all neighbors would be out, because I knew that Sir Barks-A-Lot™ would kick off madly as soon as I would reach Skoosh.
He was singing the song of his people while I headed out. Fortunately, my neighbors cars were gone… Hope that Bas would soon get tired of making all the noise… I got to the physio, read a bit in the 3rd Dresden Files book while I waited. Physio was good, he even managed to do something with my hand, as my thumb had been bothering me the whole day already. There was a little, painful, crack, and then came some relief. After the PT was done, I got back to Skoosh, and we skedaddled back to Basje.
I made food for Bas and myself. Of course Bas pretended I was poisoning him somehow. I watched a little TV, until the neighbor texted me that the big black 🖤 fluff was ready for his snacks. We had a good walk together. When we got back, I prepped everything to head to bed, as I had an early alarm again, to head to Nijmegen again, to help mum and work on dad’s network drive issue, again. It didn’t take too long to fall asleep.
I woke up twice before my alarm told me it was time to get up. The scale was an asshat… So I got dressed, and we started our “day”.

Finally! A new #bookmaking project! We discovered traveller’s notebooks this year. Love the concept but wanted to have one that was #vegan AND not made of plastic. I also wanted to make my own inserts. These are prototypes to see if the concept could work. I am so proud of these! I learned a great deal and am planning on making a larger one for A5 notebooks.

Yesterday was possibly one of my best days at getting things done. Up at 4 and sleep at 10:30.
We found a gas stove so if we get hit without power we can still cook now !
I have about two more days of organizing.

Who is my furthest. I’m guessing Indonesia or Australia ? Closest I think is maybe Pittburgh?
