@Paulatics Yes, part of me loves to try trains in Canada but until it is fast, cheap, on time, etc, I think I will save my train riding quota for Shinkansen #JRailPass so we have more excuses to try more #Ekiben while exploring Japan.
P.S. You know Alberta better than me but I doubt we will ever see high speed & cheap trains connecting Calgary and Edmonton? Let alone to other cool places in AB or across Canada in a high speed+cheap manner like Japan? I think that train has kinda left us? :(
