If you have a disposable income or even a few dollars to spare I highly recommend to donate to the fundraisers, buy the art/wishlist items/etc. of those most marginalized and in need rather than large charities and corporations.
Black people do not have generational wealth because of centuries of slavery. Asking for money is not greedy and giving it to us is not unnecessary. Say that again til you understand.

Later worked with the late Leo Sullivan, Hollywood’s first Black animator, on his Afrokids project, then with Bobby Seale, co-founder of the Black Panther Party on his college speaking engagements. The real Independence Day in the USA.
Today is Juneteenth in the US. No matter what part of the world you're living in, it's crucial to learn about our history. We need to understand how racism was created as oppressive system and how it is still embedded in everything today. For change to happen, we need to take continuous, intentional anti-racist action.
White people: Juneteenth is a reminder to learn what we don't know yet, to go deep inside ourselves and sit with uncomfortable truths, and especially to take action. Donate to Black-owned organizations, buy products and services from Black-owned businesses. Read books by Black authors, diversify your social media streams. Amplify lived experiences that differ from your own. Have a conversation about systemic racism. Watch for microaggressions in your everyday life and call them out. Change your own behavior - start with one thing to do differently and take note when you fall back to your old ways, why that is, and what you need to change it.
We all need to do better. We can only start with ourselves.
