Hey everyone! Since @gabboman will be partially or mostly unavailable for a couple days starting this weekend, I'll be standing in as a temporary admin here on the waffle :)

I have an extensive background in community management, I've run multiple Mastodon instances, including the one I have now, and even in the offline boring world I am a manager of people. @leopardboy I see competitive people amping up competitive rhetoric because they want to “stick it to the man,” but I don’t see any justification for a platform war. I avoid amplifying such noise. We will end up with a similar situation on Mastadon as we currently have on the other big platforms if we do. Imo, the best kind of music is jazzy but upbeat. Think fusion jazz or city pop.

My personal bangers include songs by Anri, Casiopeia, kiki vivi lily, Mariya Takeuchi; and the similar ilk. I can appreciate more normie music like Lauv or something, but it's not as much my style.
