@bewitchedmind allerdings: entgegen der landläufigen Meinung zähle ich das Fett nicht zu den bösen Dingen, sondern eher die Kohlenhydrate.

Nach Erfahrungen mit 13 Jahren #keto habe ich ausschließlich positive Ergebnisse mit dem Ersetzen des einen durch das andere gesehen und genossen.

Gesundheitlich war es (persönlich) ein absoluter und haushoher Gewinn, die Nahrungsmittelpyramide zu ignorieren bzw umzudrehen, und verarbeitete Lebensmittel zu eliminieren.

Goedemorgen Tooters & Belles,

Na drie weken treiteren door vooral omhoog te gaan, is de weegschaal nu weer lief. Een pondje eraf. Dat brengt het totaal op 18 pond sinds 1 augustus.

Het is onmogelijk te zeggen waardoor de stagnatie kwam: de onverwachte menstruatie of het feit ik heb geëxperimenteerd met stamppot zuurkool en pure chocolade. Tuurlijk, op papier bleef ik binnen mijn macro's maar of mijn lichaam dat ook zo heeft ervaren?

Verder met wat werkt! #keto

Made my first batch of #keto Chicken Chips. Think 'thin chicken rinds'. Nice crunch, excellent with chip dip.

(Except where I didn't roll it out thin enough, then it was more like 'chicken leather' ... still edible. )
Put some in a container in the fridge to see what they're like tomorrow night.

Tonight's #keto supper ...
Asian Pork Cabbage Dumplings!

Asian flavoured ground pork wrapped it savoy Cabbage leaves, steamed until fully cooked, then fried crisp on one side. Simple dipping sauce of soy sauce, sesame oil and green onions.
One the few keto meals I've repeated several times. Filling and satisfying.
Happy Girl!! ☺️😋

NOTE: I usually make them with Nappa cabbage which are easier for wrapping and have a better texture after steaming/frying.

Ca 2 mal im Jahr ein Croissant, was ich dann unmittelbar bereue (schmeckt gut, aber das Leben ist besser ohne, daher reichts nicht um Brot anzukreuzen)

What to do with this keto flour

Got this at a discount grocery store. Tried using it for cinnamon rolls, but the taste and texture is similar to vital wheat gluten. Any suggestions for how to use this in cooking or baking? I’m also vegan by snuffpvppy

Hey fedi, does anyone have some favorite #keto / #lowcarb recipes for #slowcooker or #pressurecooker / #instantpot . Apologies for all the tags but I want to get this in front of some people outside my usual reach.

Preferences:

  • Pork and chicken great, beef and vegetarian ok (based on household eating habits)
  • Prefer something that’s easily paired with a carby side like rice or pasta, but also good on its own
  • Prefer low effort, we’re perpetually overstretched and I’m trying to find ways to make that better, not necessarily pull off culinary masterpieces, but if you’ve got something you love in the latter category, I’ll hear you out.
