This morning's #workout #music is something I was probably using for the same purpose when I was 13 - Cheap Trick Live at Budokan. This is the whole concert. I was never a fan of their studio albums, but I had this one and a bootleg cassette from a show earlier in their career that was even louder and sloppier.

I think they are the reason that Husker Du and Nirvana sounded so familiar to me when I first discovered them. Kurt would have agreed "“I’ll be the first to admit that we’re the ’90s version of Cheap Trick."
