This is my Calphalon 5 quart pan. It is a Beast. I've been using it for more than 25 years to make batch after batch after batch of nut brittle, not to mention other things like soup and mashed potatoes, and what have you. We use LP gas and the most used burner seems to have a hot side.

But I'd really like to know if anyone has an idea how to clean Calphalon with this sort of damage. Pan still works perfectly, it's more of an aesthetic thing. I've tried Bar Keeper's Friend, Soft scrub and a few others including a lot of Brillo and elbow grease.

Ideas welcomed.

Which is when I can most easily see the crumbs, dust, and balls of shed cat fur that accumulate there.

I normally avoid the kitchen at that golden hour.

Houses are strange. We have bedrooms and bathrooms. Some people have a kitchen and a living room. Some have a dining room, and some don't. Dear #household #appliances manufacturers, why on planet bloody earth do you think one would need a FRIGGIN APP FOR A BLOODY OVEN???

Explain the thinking here!
"I'm gonna start this roast and when it's done while I'm out shopping, I'll just stop the oven remotely!" Or what? Hubby: then it's still gonna go dry in the hot box that is the still hot oven!!!!

Or why do you need an #App for the laundry machine?? Or the coffee machine? Or the fridge???

Y'all are pretty darn #demented at this point ... Smart appliances are a scam, and the future sucks...
