It's a #blizzard day in Qikiqtaġruk (#Kotzebue), with next to no visibility in snow and blowing snow and east winds 35 gusting to 50 mph for several hours now. The location of Qikiqtaġruk, on then north end of the Baldwin Peninsula, the mouth of Kobuk River to the east and mountains to the north all combine to make blizzard conditions here a regular part of the winter climate. #akwx @Climatologist49
