I saw a picture of this brand of marmalade, I think from one of the #OFMD crew's behind the scenes posts, saying this was what they used for the show.

And of course there are seven sugar cubes in the other jar, because it "wouldn't be the same with six."

Fans of #OurFlagMeansDeath will (I hope!) recognise this scene. The design is drawn directly from a household shrine from Pompeii (see second image).

The online #OFMD community are to thank for the Latin - not a literal translation of Lucius' words, but something that worked as a Latin phrase while maintaining the tone and meaning of the original.

I am flabbergasted because I got today this nice Saturnalia present: it is a statuette of the goddess Nemesis from one of the Swiss gladiator group Ars Gladiatoria because they honor my support to them and my research in all things gladiatorial.
