The whole sad Franny-with-no-friends birthday pool party subplot was quite a thing.

What was the laser cannon for?
Why does it exert vampire mind control?
How did FBI guy know to come to town?
And how did he know more about what was happening than even the turtles?
Who's going to tell Mom to stay in Acapulco?
Who will be the next idiot to pick up the laser cannon?
What an incoherent, boring, pointless fireball of doom.
There was nothing redeeming about Laserblast, which makes it an excellent Monsterdon movie!

I suspect there are a lot of in-jokes buried in there just 'cause it was shot so quickly.
