I got rid of the default home/screen launcher app years ago, and haven't looked back. There are many alternatives.
My favorite is the KISS launcher. It gets rid of the pages of apps entirely. Instead, it lets me pick a few to put along the bottom row as "favorites", below that a search bar (which searches for apps, urls, optionally contacts, etc). Above it, previously launched apps in order of most recent use.
Most apps are either my favorites, on screen above my favorites (recently used), or one keyboard stroke away (just type the first letter or two of the app name, and history list filters itself instantly).
It takes a minute to get used to, but it's worth it. Brad says check it out. If you don't like it you can go back without hassle.

The Quicksilver inspiration is clearly visible and that makes me so excited. I am downloading it as type this post and I am genuinely thrilled to see if it is a replacement for Alfred 5, which is my favorite launcher.
Right now, I will admit that it’s the quicksilver – subject > verb semantics that is different from Alfred, which allows is clearly via workflows, but is limited to pre-set subjects and actions.
The “voice” mode is also very interesting as a great way to quickly enter transcribe text.

Tuna appears to be a spiritual successor to QuickSilver, the original launcher app for Mac. Currently in Beta.

Ich nutze derzeit den Smart Launcher 6, jedoch bin ich derzeit ein wenig unzufrieden.

Rapaz, esse µLauncher pode ser perigoso ou deve ser muito bom mesmo para o app da Shopee gritar desse jeito.
Spoiler: apenas mudei temporariamente para o Launcher Padrão do Sistema, concluí a compra e, logo em seguida, voltei com o µLauncher.

New launcher to replace Nova?
Hello folks. Four minutes ago, I got a notification that Nova now has ads, despite Me disabling updates. Three minutes ago, I uninstalled Nova. Any recommendations for a new launcher?
My ideal launcher would be completely free, have plenty of customisation options, and the only updates would be bugfixes and op-in features that I am not notified about. I first installed Nova years ago, to make My new phone’s home screen look like the last one’s. And I’m not about to change My ways now, so hopefully the new launcher lets Me recreate the look and feel of the very first smartphone I ever owned over a decade ago.
