There's an important argument for #leavingfacebook and #leavingtwitter that you don't see much, probably because people are modest.
I produce a *lot* of soc-med content, and I believe the quality is high too. So after I left #Twitter in 2022 and #Facebook last week, there's less to see there and the average quality is lower.

Bit late to the party, I know, but I'd always insisted that this (below) was how I'd leave Twitter.
I have another account on mastodon.social. I'll probably consolidate that with this too.
I'll still need to flesh out my timeline here though. I need maybe a handful of hourly bots, same for news websites (all countries, don't be shy about language). Any suggestions -- I'm all ears (and a little bit of belly).
