Our #lilies are looking nice.

Love how my wife stays on top of these, removing their pollen so they don't make neighborhood cats ill. She also keeps them out of the backyard altogether, where our own kitty roams daily.

My Sicilian Honey Lilies (or Sicilian Honey garlic)... Latin name either Allium Bulgaricum / Allium siculum.
I originally bought a bag of 3 little sorry looking bulbs in the supermarket about 12 yrs ago.
Over the years they slowly multiplied and thrived despite my neglect.
Last Fall I dug up the bulbs and separated out all the larger and smaller bulblets, and spread them out better and added some good soil for them. This Spring they are happily thriving in now two spots. I feel they have a very 'Old World' look to them, perhaps even medieval. That's just in my head though.
I found they last a long time as cut flowers in a vase! I had some poppies in this vase with them, but of course the Sicilians far outlasted the poppies.. lolol They would look well cut in a vase with some fronds of bronze fennel, methinks.
